Kebabsito team thinks that it is unacceptable to serve a kebab to customers who will afterwards go home and eat another sandwich because they didn’t have enough and are still hungry.
People have prejudice against kebab because unfortunately there are still places that do not follow the rules of preparing and serving kebab. One of the basic rules says that it is acceptable to cook kebab for 48 hours maximum, after which it must be removed and a new one placed, regardless of how much is left. There are food bars which repeatedly freeze and thaw leftovers instead of removing them after 48 hours, which is exactly why people often say: „I will never eat a kebab again.“ The key to making a good kebab are fresh ingredients and hygiene.
The quality of kebab is determined by good quality meat, fresh ingredients and the hygiene of the premises. Tomatoes sliced a couple of days ago or wilted lettuce mustn’t be served in a kebab.- says Robert, the owner of Kebabsito.

Kebab delivery
There is a problem of kebab delivery in Split. People are used to delivery service, but kebab is best when consumed on the spot. That way you can see the preparation of meat, salads and sauces, meat slicing and all other details that are parts of kebab preparation, whilst all of the mentioned cannot be presented through a delivery.
Kebab is delivered withing 15-20 minutes, wrapped in foil and a bit cold because of the sauces and salads that cool the meat by the time it arrives at a certain address, and thus it loses its quality.
That’s why sometimes I get a phone call from people who know me and comment that the delivered kebab was not the same as when they tried it at Kebabsito or customers leave a comment on the delivery pages that the meat was cold or the bun was dry. I apologize to all of them, because my goal is to present a real kebab and that is only possible „on the spot“, says Robert.
